1.8.06 - "Weekend at Baker a HUGE Success!"

William Kenneth just wrapped up his first weekend of live performances. Both shows took place at Baker College of Owosso and ended up being a big hit. After shaking out the nerves night one, William Kenneth blew the crowd away with his skills, lyrics, and humor on night two. Following the show, there was a line of listeners who were waiting to get an autograph. It was an amazing experience.
When asked about the shows William Kenneth replied, "Well, it felt good to get out there and start playing these songs to people. I think a lot of the songs are very well suited for the live, solo acoustic treatment...The first night was great mainly because I got some of my stage fright out of me. I made more mistakes than I generally would but I was pretty happy with it for being my first time alone in front of an audience. It's a lot more intimidating than I first thought it would be. A definite plus on the first night was "Life Goes On". I am not a keyboard/piano player by nature, so every time I play that I get nervous but the first night it went quite well...The second night was fantastic. I wasn't nearly as nervous as I was the first night and the crowd was probably 5 times bigger than the first night so I knew I had to nail it. I had revamped my set list from the first night and I felt the new set flowed very smoothly. The crowd was great and for the most part laughed at all the ridiculous things I said and clapped nice and loud. I'd definitely have to say they're the best audience I've played for yet," he said with a smile...."Overall it was a great weekend. I'd like to thank Baker and all the people who showed up. Especially I'd like to send out a huge thank you to anyone who stuck around for an autograph or got some William Kenneth merchandise, it was a great feeling to get that kind of support at just my second live show. Hopefully I'll be back down there before too long!"

Below is the set list from night two:
1.) Seven Years
2.) Together Forever
3.) Half Way Home
4.) Since You've Been Gone
5.) Nowhere
6.) Hannah
BREAK (Dream)
7.) Hold On
8.) True Friend
9.) Regardless
10.) Life Goes On
